Federal law states that you must be 21 or over to buy any firearm from a FFL. The exception is that you only have to be 18 or over to buy a long gun. A stripped or complete AR-15 lower receiver is just a receiver, it is not a long gun nor is it a pistol, hence the 21 or over requirement.

On January 13, 2023, the Attorney General signed ATF final rule 2021R-08F, Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces, amending regulations to clarify when a rifle is designed, made, and intended to be fired from the shoulder.
The final rule was published in the Federal Register on January 31, 2023.

UPDATED RANGE RULES (dated 4/14/2023)
AR15 RIFLE/AR PISTOL CUSTOMERS:
Firearm(s) MUST BE brought in the ALL-CLEAR position and WITHOUT A CASE (MUST BE VISIBLE).
ALL AR pistols MAY NOT HAVE a brace, stock, magnifier, light, and/or forward grip (no added accessories other than flip-up sights or a red dot sight)
A Tax Stamp MUST BE PROVIDED if any of the above accessories/additions apply to the firearm (BRACE/STOCK/ANY ACCESSORY MUST BE REMOVED or admission to the range will be denied without a TAX STAMP)
EYE/EAR Protection MUST be provided by the customer or purchased. Health & Welfare (via sanitation) of our customers is of high importance and eye/ear protection rental was discontinued for this reason.

New Range Policy: Battle Buddy System PREFERRED! All range users are encouraged to come in at least a group of 2. We will not deny range usage based on party size, yet we highly urge coming to the range with a Battle Buddy!
